House Rules
Trash Disposal: Take all trash to the shed across from the cabin and ensure the door is completely closed.
Pets
- We allow up to two dogs (pet fee required). No cats, please.
- The porch is gated, but there is no fencing beyond the property lines.
- Supervise your pets outdoors and kennel or tie them up if left unattended to prevent damages and extra costs.
- Keep pets close as there are wild animals in the area.
Fire
- Fires are allowed only in the firepit or grill.
- Never leave fires unattended, as per Tennessee law.
- Gather downed wood from the property for firewood or contact Knockout Firewood in Wears Valley for delivery.
Important Info
House Rules, Info, and Checkout Instructions forConstruction or Equipment: There may be construction or farm equipment on the property. For your safety, avoid interaction with it.
Exploration & Safety
- Use the buddy system when hiking or exploring beyond the cabin.
- Supervise young children and pets outside due to steep trails, the creek, and the presence of wildlife.
- Stay within property boundaries: The creek serves as the back boundary, and purple stakes or tree markings denote the property lines. Please do not cross fences or trespass onto neighbors' land.
- Smoking: Dispose of cigarette butts in the metal trash bin with sand, located on the porch.
Checkout Instructions
- Lock Up: Lock all doors at the cabin upon departure.
- Trash: Ensure all trash is removed and taken to the shed with the door securely closed.
- Respect: Use all items for their intended purposes and leave the cabin in good condition for the next guest.
